Whether the WNBA has been a success or not can be debated, but it's at least nice to see a feel-good story come from it as Marion Jones signs with the league.

The dog days of summer have slowed volume to a crawl, with unrest in the WNBA being the only mover of note.
It will be interesting to see how the market reacts in the coming days, but if the past is any indication, the Sparks/Shock incident will more likely be compared to this...
