Those dolls got the good hair.

Good news for black men on the hunt for a job -- according to the New York Times, your college degree doesn't matter.

College-educated black men, especially, have struggled relative to their white counterparts in this downturn, according to figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The unemployment rate for black male college graduates 25 and older in 2009 has been nearly twice that of white male college graduates — 8.4 percent compared with 4.4 percent.

Allen Iverson back to the 76ers? Just the idea of it sounds too storybook to be real.

Andre Braugher

Sure, you don't meet a lot of black 40-something men named Owen, but if there's an actor who can pull it off, it's Braugher, who we look forward to seeing in the new TNT drama "Men of a Certain Age".

Tiger Woods

Hmmm. Between knee surgery and the latest domestic incident Woods breaking Jack Nicklaus' record doesn't seem as inevitable.

Well, looks like the Atlanta mayoral run-off is no longer about politics or ideas, but race.

"What it comes down to is if she gets more black votes than he gets white votes," said political strategist Tom Houck. "When people say race doesn't matter, obviously it does. There is no dominant issue that distinguishes these two other than she's a white woman and he's a black guy."

Yeah, this'll end well.
