The New York Times is attributing the chaos in the state legislature to a growing rift between Latino and black Democrats, with the Latino Dems bolting to a Republican led coalition. Add that to the woes of wildly unpopular Gov. David Patterson and things haven't been looking so good for this group.

From a view outside of new york - it seems like the Gov. just can't seem to get it together. I would hope that it's not that the Brother is unqualified. He was 2nd in charge before spitzer. It's real sad....
I can't look at the Gov. without thinking of those SNL sketches. I'm sorry, they are hilarious to me...
