While analysts aren't surprised to find that race will play a role in the upcoming presidential election, a recent Associated Press poll lead to revelations that rocked the market.
 
Fewer than one in five white Republicans were willing to describe blacks as either determined, law abiding or dependable.  White Democrats fared better, but not much.

George Bush has company.

Market experts had been bullish following Barack Obama's winning the Democratic nomination and his subsequent lead in national polls.  However, these numbers paint a sobering picture about where we are today with regards to white attitudes about blacks.
